Well to get things back on track we need to get posting again and somehow work around the characters that seem non-existent till their back or somebody else takes over those characters.
Dan aka Ty Borden has put the first active check up so those that don't make a post on that thread will be taken off the site or/and somebody else will get to take over their characters...
The only way we can encourage new people to join the site is if the site is actually running and not just that the only activity is on the poke site.

Okay, I'd really like to get the story going again. Last year, I did my best to keep the 'W.E.N.' side of the story going. I tried to include new characters like Danica (Danny) and Alice Gordon.
I had Lisa decide to create a team for the 'W.E.N.' event that included Amy, Danica and Caleb.
That went absolutely nowhere.
I noticed that some other RPers seemed to be on a completely different timeline, as if they were still in Season One, where Ty Borden was still a newcomer to Heartland, and hadn't even been to Maggie's Diner yet.
If possible, it would be nice if all the RPers were on the same page.
I'm only here to have fun because I enjoy writing, but it's tough to make things 'work' if we're not all working towards a common goal.
So, I'd like to ask:
Is the 'W.E.N.' event still an important plot point we'd like to develop, or should we scrap it?
If we do, I'm sure I can find lots of other things for Lisa to do.
Is Alice still going to have her jump-off?
Is Ty still going to be a newcomer to Hudson?
These things (among others) need to be cleared up.
Plus, what would really help would be a thread that keeps the plots together, a sort of 'Here's what's been happening' so we don't get confused.
Thoughts, anyone?

Yay somebody posted again! I was also starting to think the site is dead...
Would love to continue with the jump-off plot if everybody agrees. Its sort of a way to get the Alice character into the story and to get to know the other more familiar characters and also the W.E.N. event. Not sure about Ty being a newcomer though since we all know him so well...

Glad you're still here!
Lisa Stillman was hoping to also have Alice Gordon on her W.E.N. team as well, but put an asterisk by her name because she was still technically employed by Val (though that might very well change after that jump-off!)
I don't see anyone else poking their heads in here, so I'm not sure how to proceed at this time...

Hahaha knowing Val that might change sooner rather than later. Me neither... Tried sending emails to all the other missing members but got no reaction. Did notice however that there has been MANY new members signing up but other than that the site does seem pretty dead to me

I don't know what else to do, then. I wonder if it would be possible to 'migrate' the story over to the CBC boards... It might get more participation that way, but of course that's not my call to make. I mean, this isn't my site. I'm just a participant.

Yes same here. Also not sure how the roleplaying will work on the CBC forums. All the activities at all the venues will have to happen on the same board and that might be quite confusing. I know of another site where we might get some more support (It's also a Canadian site called wattpad. I'm currently writing my own story on it, but they also have clubs and forums and stuff and is for all the budding writers of the world), but I think we will still be stuck with the same problems as on the CBC site.

I guess it would get cumbersome on the CBC site... *sigh*.
It's too bad we haven't heard a response back from the admins of this board.

I'm one of the admins and so is "Ty" who created the site and "Mallory" who I've only heard from once since the site has been created, but it's "Ty" aka Danny's vote that counts I guess...
